Danni Ramalingam, NRAS Program Manager
The Barb Devcic Award was set up in honour of a former long-serving, and much-loved frontline worker in Bendigo to recognise excellence in client and customer service.

One of Danni’s key achievements over the past year has been the successful development and implementation of a series of growth strategies for the NRAS program. With an external customer service focus, Danni personally assisted over 150 investors that were impacted by the financial collapse of McKenzie Bond and their withdrawal from the National Rental Affordability Scheme.
Danni supported these investors – many of them devastated and disillusioned – through the complex process of transferring their compliance management to Haven; Home, Safe, resulting in the acquisition of more than 200 additional NRAS incentives.
Danni has also played a lead role with the Culture Club, promoting diversity within the workplace. And outside of work, Danni continues to have an impact via fundraising by running marathons, cooking and distributing meals for the homeless on the streets around Melbourne, as well as collecting donations of clothing.
